Swiss watchmaker debuts $350,000 ultra-luxurious watch for US collectors
Although the recession has slowed the sale of designer watches, Swiss watchmaker Christophe Golay strongly believes that there is still a strong demand for high-end watches for those who can afford them. And that explains the launch of the companys $350,000 ultra-luxurious watch into the U.S. market. The new line of high-end watches from Cephee combines Swiss craftsmanship with hi-tech engineering. The first watch to be introduced under the new Cephee brand is Etherthat features over 150 precision set baguette diamonds, with an invisible channel setting that allows each stone to reflect all the light that it absorbs. The hands of the watch are fashioned of a delicate blue tinted sapphire called colored spinel, and the straps are handmade of the softest supple leather with a hand-crafted diamond buckle. Cephee manufactures every aspect of these watches in their own workshop in Geneva. This limited edition watch is priced at $350,000.
